By using this website (the "Website") and browsing, auditioning, purchasing, downloading, and using our audio content (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full before downloading or using any works.
JK Media Creative may amend, change, remove, or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. You should review this page regularly. Continued use of the Website, Service, or works is treated as acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you are not permitted to access, login, download, share, or use the Website, Service, or works in any way.
The Service is a sound design and audio production library intended to be auditioned before purchase. When you purchase a pack or download, you are granted a license to use the works in the ways described on the product page. Intended users include producers, presenters, podcasters, and broadcasters across film, television, radio, and digital platforms. You agree to use the Website, Service, and works only in productions listed in the product description.
You may purchase, download, and use works only after purchasing the audio and the license associated with it. Downloading works does not grant any usage rights outside the license terms.
You agree that you either hold the appropriate third-party licenses required for use or are working on behalf of a broadcaster who holds the required licenses.

Access to subscription libraries is provided on a plan basis. Plans may be billed monthly or annually. Monthly plans include a fixed allowance of download credits that resets at the start of each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over and have no cash value. Annual and unlimited plans provide unlimited downloads for the duration of the subscription.
On metered (credit-based) plans you spend credits to save an item to your library. Different items may cost a different number of credits. Saving an item grants you a licence to download it and use it — as many times as you like — for a period of 30 days from the date you save it. After 30 days the save expires and you must spend credits again to download the item. Auditioning, previewing, and streaming items does not consume credits.
Saving an item does not transfer ownership. You receive only a limited licence to use the work, and that licence is valid only while your subscription remains active. If your subscription ends, lapses, or is cancelled for any reason, all licences granted through saved items are immediately revoked. You must cease all use of any downloaded works and remove them from airplay, productions, and any distributed media, and delete your copies. Continued use of works after your subscription ends is a breach of these Terms and an infringement of our and our contributors’ rights.
Works are available only after purchase, where you obtain the audio and the license. You must provide account details before purchasing and downloading works. It is important that you keep your details up to date and use an active email address.
If your account is dormant for 36 months, we may revoke access and purge data in line with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential. Do not share login details with anyone. If you become aware of unauthorized access, notify us immediately via the contact form. JK Media Creative accepts no responsibility for any damage resulting from lost or shared passwords.
We take your data seriously. Our Privacy Policy sets out in full what personal data we collect, the lawful basis for processing it, how long we retain it, the third-party services we use, and your rights under UK GDPR. Please review it before using this website or our services.
You will use the Website and Service only as set out in these Terms. Any breach may result in termination of your account.
JK Media Creative reserves the right to terminate access to the Website or Service at any time, without notice and for any reason. We are not liable for termination of your account, service discontinuation, or removal of works.
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the Website, Service, and works remain with JK Media Creative. Use is always subject to obtaining an appropriate license before any exploitation or use of works.
Images, album covers, text, trademarks, and brands displayed on the Website are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced in any way.
Unauthorized public performance, broadcast, communication to the public, copying, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
Third-party open-source software used by the Website or Service remains licensed under the applicable open-source license for that component. JK Media Creative does not claim ownership of FFmpeg, ffmpeg.wasm, or other third-party open-source components. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to you under those open-source licenses, including the GNU GPL or MIT License where applicable. Any restriction in these Terms on copying, modification, redistribution, or reverse engineering does not apply to the extent an open-source license requires those rights to remain available for the relevant third-party component.
JK Media Creative distributes software and plugins (“the Software”) under two models: free plugins that require a JK Media account, and paid Buyout Plugins purchased through the JK Media shop. The terms in this section apply to all Software. Additional terms specific to Buyout Plugins are set out in the Buyout Plugin Licences section below. By installing or using any Software you agree to these terms in full.
Licence grant. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial audio productions.
Restrictions. You may not: redistribute, share, resell, rent, or sublicence the Software to any third party; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code; modify or create derivative works based on the Software; remove or alter any copyright notices or branding. Your licence is tied to your JK Media account and may not be transferred to another person.
Updates. JK Media Creative may release updates to free Software at any time. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised terms. Update entitlements for paid Buyout Plugins are governed by the Buyout Plugin Licences section below.
No warranty. The Software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. JK Media Creative accepts no liability for any loss or damage, including data loss, arising from the installation or use of the Software.
Certain plugins available through the JK Media shop (“Buyout Plugins”) are sold under a one-time buyout licence. The following terms apply in addition to the general Software & Plugins terms above.
Perpetual, version-specific licence. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use the specific version of the plugin you purchased. The licence covers that version only. It does not entitle you to any future versions, major updates, or new feature releases.
Not a subscription. A Buyout Plugin licence is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring charges. Access to the plugin is not contingent on maintaining an active subscription or account in good standing beyond the initial purchase.
Licensed to the individual. The licence is issued to the individual purchaser and is tied to their JK Media account. It is not a per-station or per-organisation licence and may not be transferred, reassigned, or shared with any other person or entity.
Future versions. JK Media Creative is under no obligation to release updates or new versions of any Buyout Plugin. Where a new major version is released, a discounted upgrade may be offered to existing licence holders as a courtesy, but this is not guaranteed and does not form part of this agreement.
Returns & cancellation. A free demo version is available for every Buyout Plugin prior to purchase — please evaluate it fully before buying. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. By completing your purchase you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that your right to cancel is waived once download or activation begins. Where a verified technical fault prevents all use of the plugin and our support team is unable to resolve it, a refund or replacement may be considered at our discretion. We do not accept returns on the grounds of change of mind or incompatibility with third-party software not listed in the product’s stated system requirements.
You agree to compensate JK Media Creative for costs, claims, proceedings, and damages (including reasonable legal costs) arising from any breach of these Terms.
You also agree to compensate JK Media Creative for any claim or demand brought by a third party arising out of your use of the Website, Service, or works.
These Terms are governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
