The UK Hot 40 reveals new jingle package

The popular syndicated radio chart show UKHot40 has announced a major sonic overhaul to modernize its brand identity. Hosted by Chris Brooks, the show is debuting a brand-new, bespoke jingle package designed to maintain a fresh, contemporary feel alongside today's hit music.

You can listen to the package in full here.

For the first time in the program’s history, the new identity will feature sung production. This custom package was crafted by JK Media Creative, representing a significant investment in the UKHot40 brand as it continues to expand its global reach.

Chris Brooks emphasized that the update is about more than just a new coat of paint. Brooks stated. "It’s important for the show to cut through and this new production will help us do that. The production will be heard on stations both in The UK and around the world where The UK Hot 40 currently syndicates to. Working with the teams at Evolve and JK Media Creative was simple and they ran us through every step along the way. They could hear what was in my head and deliver that to audio."

Beyond the new jingles, UKHot40 has solidified its long-term production strategy by signing an exclusive agreement with the Evolve Production Library. This partnership is intended to ensure the show's production elements remain consistently up to date.

Joe Kinch expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting the prestige of the client. Kinch added. "It has been such great fun working on the brand new package for the UKHot40, working to bridge the gap between sonic and sung imaging. I’m also really thrilled that we can get such a high quality and far reaching client such as Chris and the UKHot40 on board with our new library, as a UK chart show it’s everything we strive to serve with Evolve and I”m really excited to see where it goes in the future."

Listeners won't have to wait long to hear the new sound. The updated jingle package is set to debut on the UKHot40 across all partner stations in the UK and abroad this weekend.
